US Bank Tower
US Bank Tower, Los Angeles, CA Management Experience
formerly First Interstate World Center (Library Tower)
Valued at over $1 billion in current dollars, in downtown Los Angeles. This mega-project at 1,018 feet of height, is the tallest building west of the Mississippi River, the seventh tallest in the United States, 54th tallest in the world, and until recently the tallest building in a seismic zone 4. It is a 75 story, all steel building containing 1.8 million square feet of office and retail space with six levels of underground parking.
This project holds the record for the highest pumped concrete placement in the world. The structural steel for this project was bought from a Japanese steel mill, fabricated in South Korea and Northern California, and finally installed in Los Angeles. This resulted in savings of over two million dollars, in structural steel alone, over conventional methods.
